Between two sizes? Go the bigger one — a second bin always costs more than the size up.
Bathroom strip-out
2m³ – 3m³
Old vanity, tiles and fittings add up in weight fast, so keep the bin small and load it evenly.
Garage or shed clean-out
3m³ – 4m³
Boxes, timber offcuts and old furniture are bulky rather than heavy — you'll fill volume before weight.
Full house clean-up
6m³
The go-to size when you're clearing a whole home, including furniture and general household rubbish.
Kitchen or full renovation
6m³ – 9m³
Cabinetry, plasterboard and packaging take up far more room than people expect. Size up if unsure.
Builder or trade site
9m³ – 12m³
Larger bins mean fewer swap-outs and less downtime on site across the Southern Tablelands.

Branches, prunings and lawn clippings go in a separate green waste bin from $150.
Access & Loading
Getting it right on the day
- Fill to the level of the bin rails only — bins can't be transported overloaded, and anything above the rails has to come off before pick-up.
- Load heavy material like soil, bricks and tiles flat across the base rather than piled at one end.
- Break down boxes, furniture and timber so you use the full volume instead of trapping air.
- Keep the drop-off area clear of cars, low branches and overhead wires so the truck has room to place and collect the bin.
- If the bin has to sit on the road, footpath or nature strip, Goulburn Mulwaree Council may require a permit — that's the customer's responsibility to arrange before delivery.
What can't go in
Asbestos, chemicals, paint, oils, batteries, gas bottles, tyres, food waste and any hazardous or liquid waste can't go in a skip bin. If you're not sure about a specific item, call us before you load it.

For prunings, branches, hedge trimmings and lawn clippings. Keep it free of soil, rubble and general rubbish so it can be processed as green waste.
Scrap metal bins
From $150
For old sheeting, fencing, appliances and offcuts. Metal-only loads get recycled rather than tipped, which is why they're priced separately.
We also offer Trash Packs at $40 per month for ongoing household rubbish.
